Heritage Auctions’ July 24–25 Movie Posters auction features a range of Universal's horror posters plus the work of Charlie Chaplin and Steven Spielberg.
Highlights include glass slides for Dracula and Frankenstein, a six sheet poster for 1940’s The Mummy’s Hand, a title lobby card for the 1935 sequel The Bride of Frankenstein, and a one sheet for The Ghost of Frankenstein (1942).
Also going under the hammer are:
- a six sheet of the 1943 Howard Hughes-Jane Russell movie The Outlaw
- several lobby cards for The Wolf Man (1941)
- a one sheet for Charlie Chaplin's The Kid (1921)
- various items from Jaws (1975) including a soundtrack poster, signed Laurent Durieux tribute lithograph, a subway poster, and a seven sheet
- one sheet for Errol Flynn’s The Adventures of Robin Hood
- a Snow White one sheet that features only illustrations of the Seven Dwarfs
- one sheet of 1927’s The Way of All Flesh starring Emil Jennings
