Detroit Festival of Books (aka: Detroit Bookfest) is dedicated to promoting the joy of reading and the rich culture surrounding it.
The Fairs expanded rapidly and after the first York Book Fair in October 1974 the Provincial Booksellers’ Fairs Association or PBFA was founded.
Open continuously from Noon EST on Wednesday until 7pm EST on Thursday.

Marking the 65th edition of the fair, the event historically attracts over 120 international exhibitors and over 4,000 visitors.

Booksellers from the Pacific Northwest and beyond will be bringing their best rare and collectible books, ephemera, maps, prints, photographs and more.
